About Kéri Bouckat

Kéri Bouckat is a Gabonese IT executive with over 21 years of experience at the intersection of telecommunications, banking, the public sector and FinTech. Based in Libreville, he has built his career on one conviction: the solutions to Africa's development are built on the continent, by operators who master its technology, its regulation and its realities on the ground.

Trained at the Institut Africain d'Informatique (IAI), Kéri Bouckat began at Celtel — later Zain, then Airtel — where he helped launch Gabon's first mobile internet services (2005) and the first BlackBerry services in Gabon (2006) and Chad (2009). At IBM Global Technology Services, he contributed to operations spanning 17 African countries and some ten data centers, from Gabon to Kenya.

As Chief Information Officer of BGFIBank Gabon and then of the CNSS, he led for five years the information systems of a major public institution — over 30 staff, multi-billion FCFA budgets and the digitalization of social benefits. At SEEG, he steered the digital strategy of the national energy utility. As Chief Digital Transformation Officer at PMUG, he drove monthly revenue growth of over 100%.

Co-founder of BRIKS (Build Reliable Innovations Knowledge Solutions), a digital transformation and FinTech firm, Kéri Bouckat now works on payment interoperability in the CEMAC region — notably through the MA DIGIPAIE platform connected to GIMACPAY — and is developing the IMAGINE AFRIC connected-services ecosystem. A builder-executive, he designs and ships digital products himself, from business model to technical architecture.
